6th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival
(NOTE: For the Wild & Scenic FIlm Festival in LaGrange, see info below.)
Thanks to everyone for coming out to our Wild & Scenic Film Festival, the largest environmental film festival in North America. With a growing public awareness for the environment, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival aims to increase this groundswell through inspiring and educational films which hopefully will motivate people to go out and make a difference in their community and around the world.
Each year, Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK), Georgia River Network (GRN) and Georgia ForestWatch (GFW) partner to select the best of these award-winning environmental films and bring them to Atlanta in a three-hour program. The program (with a 20-minute intermission) offers a mix of films addressing environmental issues such as energy, youth empowerment, wildlife preservation, recycling and the protection and restoration of wild lands and waters. This is a touring version of the national festival presented each January in Nevada City, Calif., by the South Yuba River Citizens League.
Big thanks to our sponsors for this event!
