Annual Member Celebration

Our Member Celebration gives us an opportunity to share our success stories with our members, hear from inspiring speakers, and honor the work of our volunteers. We have hosted this event in locations throughout the watershed, and loved hosting at the 2012 site: Oakhurst Community Garden in Decatur.

In 2012 we enjoyed live music from Gareth Asher & the Earthlings, catered food from Parsley’s Organic Catering, and guest speakers. We also welcomed three colleagues to talk about the Georgia Water Coalition's 2013 legislative priorities: Stephanie Stuckey Benfield of GreenLaw, Todd Edwards Association County Commissioners of Georgia, and William Perry of Common Cause.

Family-friendly opportunities included rain barrel painting activities, and a kids play area.
