Paddle Abbotts Bridge to Jones Bridge, August 2

UCR’s River Discovery Paddle Series has been a big hit so far with all the participants! You have three more chances to join us – August 2, August 9, and August 23. This Saturday we’ll paddle seven miles with a National Park Service guide leading the way through the section of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area most popular for boat fishermen due to slower currents. The registration fee is $35 per boat and space is limited.

Performing Artist Jack Johnson is doing his part for the environment through the new social action network All At Once, and from now through September 14th, All At Once will match donations made to UCR through our All At Once campaign page (click here). Thank You Patagonia!

From June 10 through July 19, Patagonia invited shoppers at its East Andrews location to select a local environmental organization to receive a grant through the “Voice Your Choice” campaign. UCR won and will receive $4000! Thank you to Patagonia and the many shoppers who voted for us!
