Forum and Panel Discussion This Thursday, December 4
Join the city of Atlanta, UCR and other sponsors for a special preview and panel discussion of the film Liquid Assets: The Story of Our Water Infrastructure, on Thursday night, December 4, from 6 – 9 pm at the Loudermilk Center in Atlanta (click here for directions). This important new documentary tells of our essential infrastructure systems - drinking water, wastewater and stormwater – that are out of sight, too often out of mind, and in need of urgent attention. View film trailer here.
We will view portions of the film, and panelists, including UCR's Sally Bethea, will take questions from the audience and discuss the challenges ahead. Channel 11’s Marc Pickard will act as moderator.
You must RSVP to attend the reception, which begins at 6 pm, by emailing vendordev@atlantaga.gov. Space is limited. The forum will begin at 7 pm. If you are unable to attend in person, you can view the event Thursday night through a webcast here. The documentary will air in its entirety on PBA, Channel 30, on December 16 at 9:30 pm.
