River Revival is SOLD OUT
Thanks to everyone who bought tickets for the 12th Annual River Revival, Rescue Your River – Save the Hooch, featuring a performance from members of Collective Soul. The event is completely sold out – THERE ARE NO TICKETS AVAILABLE IN ADVANCE OR AT THE DOOR. If you have not bought a ticket and intended to join us, we are sorry we won’t be able to accommodate you. Please remember to buy early next year!

Back to the Chattahoochee River Race and Festival – June 14
What better way to spend a Saturday in June than out on the river! Click here to register for the race, which includes categories for open and recreational paddlers, kayakers, canoeists (solo and tandem), and various age groups. The race starts at 9 a.m., June 14, at Garrard Landing Park on Holcomb Bridge Road. Register in advance to ensure your spot! (click here)
The Festival is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Riverside Park, which is also the take-out for the race and where race winners will receive their awards. In addition to environmental exhibitors and food vendors, enjoy live entertainment and the festive community atmosphere as we celebrate the Chattahoochee River!
As a special treat, racers will be greeted at the end of their paddle by the SweetWater Beer Barge (UCR’s own pontoon boat) – back by popular demand from last year. Enjoy sodas, water, or a SweetWater brew (for patrons 21 and over carrying a valid ID) before you go ashore.

Paddle the Hooch - May 31-June 1
It’s perfect weather for an adventurous paddle and camping trip on the upper Chattahoochee River - beginning on Sautee Creek and ending at Lula Bridge! Join UCR for two fun-filled days learning about our watershed and enjoying the company of other fellow paddlers. Walk for the Water
The MANY HORSES FOUNDATION is a 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to honoring and teaching Native American values and traditions concerning the Earth and the Natural World. The Foundation is organizing a 10-day Walk For The Water here in Georgia, starting at the headwaters of the Chattahoochee River on May 30, 2008, and ending on June 9, 2008, in a traditional Native American Ceremony in Atlanta.
The Foundation’s mission is to increase awareness of our responsibility to the natural world and to water, which sustains all of life.
