Mary O. Harrison

Mary Olivia Harrison (Mary O.) serves as Communications and Marketing Coordinator for UCR.  She joined the staff as a part-time employee in 2005, and now works on our newsletter (RiverCHAT), website, and e-news (RiverFLASH), as well as helping the development and outreach team with events and other fundraising opportunities.

A former English and drama teacher, Mary O. spent ten years teaching high school at the Counterpane Montessori Community School in Fayetteville.  She is also a songwriter and musician and released an album in 2008. She holds a B.A. in English from the College of William and Mary and a Masters in Teaching from the University of Virginia.
