Bill Crawford is the Business Manager for Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and also assists with water monitoring, canoe patrols, the annual Back to the River Race and newsletter support. Bill does all this and more on a part-time basis.
He currently lives in Warrenton, GA with his wife and two Boston terriers, but his family spent over thirty years in the Roswell area. From 1972 to 1992 Bill was co-owner and camp director of High Meadows Camp in Roswell. He is very familiar with the Chattahoochee and local creeks, as well as many other waterways in the Southeast. During the 1960’s, he helped found the Georgia Canoeing Association.
Bill is a graduate of Emory University and served in the US Marine Corps before starting a business career. His interests along with his Boston’s are basketball & soccer, canoeing and early (ancient) music.
